Zackary dropped out of school in eleventh grade to care for his mother, who had health issues. Working as the breadwinner to support his family, he was doing well as a butcher but wanted to do something different with his life.
He heard about BRIDGE of Columbus on the radio. BRIDGE’s GED program is funded by United Way. He decided to pursue his GED, and received it within three weeks with the help of BRIDGE!
He is now working with Muscogee County Corrections Department pursuing a career in law enforcement.
