United Way’s Emerging Leaders United host an annual signature event, The Great Chatt. A group of ten distinguished community leaders are invited as honorary guests. Attendees have an opportunity to engage in conversation with our honorary guests over dinner. Through these conversations, we hope to foster powerful dialogue around philanthropic and civic engagement – and how giving back to our community can positively influence your career. POWER OF THE PURSE

MARCH 2024

United Way’s Women United host the annual Power of the Purse event. This event is an opportunity to recognize the collective work for women and girls, to share this year’s scholarship recipient, and to hear a panel of esteemed women discuss relevant and important topics. Funds raised during the Power of the Purse directly benefit women and girls in the valley through programs and scholarships. By participating in the Power of the Purse, attendees know they are making an impact and sharing in the vision of “Women Helping Women”. Formerly known as the Loaned Executive Program, United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley’s Campaign Ambassador experience allows your employees to build on their professional skills and raises your company’s visibility as a good steward of the community.
